Yoohoo and Friends is a Korean animated children's film live-action superheros based on the toy-line and comics of the same name, produced by Korean toy manufacturer and character web-comics Aurora World and STONE Comics. The series debuted on the Korean film distributed by CJ Entertainment. Yoohoo and Friends features a story about a group of animals, mostly based on endangered species, who grow the Tree of Life in their habitat Yootopia. They are at risk of extinction because of worsening environmental conditions. But when all the seeds are accidentally blown away to Earth, the group accidentally gets sent down as well. Now being separated from their home, YooHoo and his friends go on adventures to find the missing magical seeds of the Tree of Life, avoiding danger and receiving help from new friends made along their journey as they retrieve each green seed one by one. After reclaiming all of the green seeds and went back to Yootopia, YooHoo and his friends live peacefully until two mysterious people, Oops and Coops who are crocodile hunters working for their corrupt leader Big Boss, arrive at YooHoo's world to capture him and his friends and sell them to the black market. YooHoo and his friends team up to foil their plans, as well as save Yootopia.

Shimajiro and his friends meet Coco, a girl who was separated from her mother during a severe sandstorm. They decide to help Coco find her mother, leaving Dr. Roarson behind to repair the Dig-Bug so they can all go home. This is the fifth movie starring a tiger boy named Shimajiro, and it was screened in movie theaters around Japan. The movie has been conceived to be a child's first movie theater experience, and has been designed in a way that will hold the attention of a young audience throughout the film. Each child is given a cardboard megaphone that they are encouraged to use at various times by the story's characters to cheer them on or shout a particular phrase, and even use as a weapon to thwart the film's villain. The film itself features a wide variety of entertainment, from sing-alongs to dance-alongs, puppet animation, and regular animation. Japanese screenings of the movie come with a short break in the middle, while the lighting and sound in the theater are adjusted to give the children the most comfortable experience possible.
